Coronavirus Pandemic: Death toll over 6 million since beginning

New Delhi : The total number of deaths globally due to coronavirus pandemic has crossed 6 million mark. This tragic milestone is a reminder for people to continue adhering to coronavirus appropriate behavior as the world is opening for travel and other business operations.

The third wave of coronavirus also penetrated to the isolated remote locations like Pacific Island, that has reported its first cases and deaths in recent time.

The death rate remains high in Eastern European nations and with lakhs of refugees migrating from Ukraine the chances of infection have also increased.

They say vaccination is the only key to stop spread of the coronavirus among people. But, credit to the third variant, even the vaccinated people tested coronavirus positive once again. In United States, more than 1 million casualties are set to be reported due to the COVID 19 infection.

Meanwhile, the death rate is high among the unvaccinated people.
