New Delhi : A shooting incident has been reported at Gurudwara on Sunday in which 2 people have been seriously injured and are under the critical condition. The incident happened at around 2:30 PM (local time) at Gurdwara Sacramento Sikh Society temple in the US.

According to reports, both the victims are under a critical condition. Meanwhile, it has been stated that the shooting incident was not related to a hate crime and it was a shootout between 2 males who knew each other. It has been learned that 3 people were involved in a fight that turned out into a shooting incident.

"Two people shot at a Gurudwara in Sacramento County, California. The shooting is not related to a hate crime, it is a shootout between two men who knew each other," says Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office, as quoted by ANI.

In the recent years, the US has been reporting back to back gun violence incidents in the nation, and this is one of the reasons why President Joe Biden has recently signed an executive order to boost the number of background checks performed during gun sales.
