PM Modi calls Rahul Gandhi "Royal Magician" over poverty claims

New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday targeted former Congress president Rahul Gandhi for making an announcement about eradicating poverty in India.

Calling the Wayanad MP a 'Royal Magician', the Prime Minister said that Shehzada of Congress has announced something that will make everyone laugh. He mentioned that Rahul Gandhi is claiming that he can eradicate poverty from India in just one stroke. The statement has surprised entire nation, wondering where this 'Shahi Jaadugar' had been hiding all these years.

He also mentioned that his mother, Sonia Gandhi, had announced 50 years back to eliminate poverty in India. Before 2014, they had been running the government through remote for ten years and are saying that they have got the magic to eliminate poverty in one go. Isn’t that a mockery of poor in the nation? PM asked.
