New Delhi : Every second person suffers from hypertension and diabetes globally and these two health conditions can serve as a host for many more health issues, which is why it is very important to manage and control them.

Here is a simple combination of three leaves or can call it ‘Gharelu Nushkha’ when consumed empty stomach every morning can do wonders in controlling diabetes and hypertension.

Tulsi

Tulsi protects our body from various diseases. Several studies have shown that consumption of Tulsi leaves on an empty stomach has shown to lower blood glucose levels in people suffering from type 2 diabetes. Tulsi leaves are also said to prevent cardiovascular disease by lowering lipid content, suppressing ischemia, stroke and reducing hypertension.

Curry patta 

Curry patta leaves, also known as meethi neem is a common ingredient used in Indian cooking and these leaves also have various health properties as well. Regular consumption of curry leaves can help in stimulating the insulin-producing cells. These cells help in keeping the blood sugar level in check.

Neem leaves 

There are evidences that show consuming neem leaves daily can lower blood sugar levels. If you have diabetes, monitor your blood sugar level regularly as too much consumption can cause your blood sugar levels to go too low in some rare cases. In this case, it might be necessary to lower your diabetic medication.
