New Delhi : The inflation is continuously gripping India, and its impact can be seen on retail prices of fuel. CNG prices have been hiked by Rs 2 per kg. This is the second hike in prices in less than a week.

CNG in Delhi is now retailing at Rs 75.61 per kg, the fuel is being retailed in Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad at Rs 78.17 per kg. In Gurugram, CNG costs Rs 83.94 per kg.

On May 15, the CNG prices were hiked in Delhi to Rs 73.61 per kg. At that time, the prices of CNG in Noida and Gurugram were Rs 76.17 per kg and Rs 81.94 per kg.

CNG is being retailed at an all-time high in some places. In Rewari, the prices for one Kg of CNG is Rs 86.07 per kg and in Karnal, the prices of CNG has gone to Rs 87.40 per kg.

What happens when CNG gets costlier?

The price hike of CNG and diesel directly impacts the prices of transportation, for example the cost of transportation of essential items increase and after a level the hike in price is seen in the essential goods as well that directly impacts the common man.

In a recent news, Uber India has announced a price hike in its fares to ensure its drivers are not suffering due to price hike.
