Watch video: Sonu Nigam now posts video of an 'azaan' on Twitter after week-long controversy

Mumbai : Early in the morning today, Bollywood Singar and Actor Sonu Nigam posted a video on Twitter a recording of an 'azaan', the morning prayer of Muslims. Sonu Nigam this morning has yet again fuelled the fire by tweeting about a video of a dark morning sky before dawn that has the audio of the Azaan.

Sonu Nigam said on Twitter, ” Goodmorning India” (sic) and posted the audio of the Azaan being heard near his house as early as 5 am IST.

Sonu Nigam had posted a series of tweets on April 17 saying though he is not a Muslim, he was woken up by the morning Azaan and asked when would this "forced religiousness" end in India?
