Bangalore : Coronavirus restrictions have been re-imposed in Karnataka as the number of fresh cases have surged in the state. The people have been asked to mandatorily wear mask in the public area.

The new restrictions have been imposed as the state registered around 525 cases on June 10. Out of these 494 were reported in Bangalore alone.

With this, the total number of active cases in Karnataka have gone to 3117 with 3061 in Bangalore itself.

Waiters at the restaurants and shopkeepers are also asked to mandatorily wear the mask.

The positivity rate in the state was at 2.31 per cent.
