New Delhi : The weather changed in Delhi and NCR region on Sunday night, thunderstorm followed by heavy rain left many trees uprooted and water logged in many areas. It is expected that the weather could be the same on whole Monday.

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has claimed a western disturbance as the cause of this rainfall, which may continue till Tuesday. People are advised to step out of their houses in preparation.

On one side, traffic jams and water logging has disrupted the life of commuters in the national capital and on the other side, people are happy that they got some relief from the scorching heat due to rain.

Delhi Airport has also issued an advisory, asking people to remain in touch with their respective airlines to get a clarity on arrival or departure of their flight in the national capital.
