Watch: The moment when SpaceX capsule splashes down on earth

New Delhi : Four astronauts – three from the US and one from Germany – arrived back on earth in a SpaceX capsule on Friday. They ended their journey with a midnight splashdown in the Gulf of Mexico.

SpaceX has shared a video on Twitter that shows the last moments of the journey when the capsule with four astronauts lands on earth with a splash at the Gulf of Mexico. "Splashdown of Dragon confirmed – welcome back to Earth, @Astro_Raja, @astroMarshburn, @astro_matthias, and @astro_kayla!," SpaceX tweeted along with a video.

SpaceX belongs to Elon Musk and it has been ferrying astronauts since last two years. Till date 26 astronauts have been launched and brought back in SpaceX capsule, including eight tourists in less than 2 years.
