New Delhi : As the air space in Ukraine has been closed for commercial flights, Indian authorities have been trying to evacuate its stranded citizens via neighbouring borders. In regards to the India's request, Poland will grant Indian students from war-struck Ukraine a visa-free entry.

Meanwhile, India will be sending two flights to Bucharest and Budapest to evacuate the passengers. "Fourth operation Ganga flight is arriving, 198 Indian nationals are arriving back to India," said S Jaishankar.

Indian embassy in Kyiv has issued an advisory claiming that Indian nationals are being evacuated from Ukraine via Romania and Hungry.

To evacuate stranded people in Ukraine, the railways is running free trains on first come first serve basis.
