Buckle Up, Riders: RE Himalayan to Yamaha R3 promise an exciting wave of upcoming Bikes in India

Delhi : The year 2023 is almost gone, and for those who love motorcycles, it was a very fantastic one. Many bikes that people had been waiting for a long time are now available. The Triumph Speed 400, Scrambler 400 X, Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650, and the latest model of KTM Dukes are available. Still, the year is not quite over, and there are a few bikes that the Indian market will soon be witnessing. These four brand-new motorbikes are scheduled to be on sale in India shortly.

Royal Enfield Himalayan 450

Himalayan 450 may be the motorbike that has generated the most interest this year. On November 24 at Motoverse, Royal Enfield will introduce the Himalayan 450. The Himalayan 411, which the 450 replaces in the lineup, and the new Himalayan have nothing in common. Himalayan 450 is equipped with a brand-new Sherpa 450 liquid-cooled engine. It generates 40 Nm at 5,500 rpm and 39.5 horsepower at 8,000 rpm. It is coupled to a 6-speed transmission that has a slip and assist clutch.

Yamaha MT-03 and R3

Yamaha has at last made the decision to enter the Indian motorcycle market. The R3 and MT-03 are the first two motorbikes to set foot on Indian soil. Since both motorcycles will be sold through the CBU, their prices won't be particularly competitive. The MT-03 will be a naked streetfighter, whereas the R3 is a completely faired motorbike. On December 15, Yamaha will introduce both bikes. A 321 cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine that generates 29.6 Nm of maximum torque and 41.4 horsepower of peak power powers both bikes. A six-speed gearbox with a slip and assist clutch is linked to the engine.

Aprilia RS457

RS457 was just introduced to the worldwide market by Aprilia India. By late December or early January of the following year, the motorcycle—which is built in India—will be available for purchase there. It appears that the RS457 is a scaled-down variant of the RS660. The motorbike was on display at MotoGP 2023 as well. A 457 cc, liquid-cooled, DOHC, parallel-twin engine with 47 horsepower is connected to a 6-speed gearbox to power the motorbike.
