Delhi : Audi India has released a teaser for the redesigned Q8 e-tron ahead of its upcoming launch in the country. In a few weeks, the electric SUV, which made its debut in November of last year, is anticipated to arrive in India. The EV's precise launch date has not, however, been disclosed by the automaker. The German luxury automobile company intends to add an electric SUV to its roster of electric vehicles in India, which already includes the e-tron 50, e-tron 55, e-tron Sportback 55, e-tron GT, and RS e-tron GT.

The new Audi Q8 e-tron will be sold at launch as a completely built unit (CBU). The country would offer the Audi Q8 e-tron in two separate body types: SUV and Sportback. There would also be three EV variations: the SQ8 e-tron, Q8 55 e-tron, and Q8 50 e-tron.

Dual electric motors with a combined output of 335 horsepower and 664 Nm power the Audi Q8 50 e-tron quattro. Depending on the body design, it is powered by a 95 kWh battery pack with a maximum range of 505 kilometres. The Q8 55 e-tron, on the other hand, has a 104 kWh battery pack that has a maximum range of 600 km and produces 402 bhp peak power and 664 Nm maximum torque. The SQ8 e-tron is the name of the high-performance version of the EV.

It has three electric motors with a combined peak output of 496 horsepower and a maximum torque of 973 Nm. A 104 kWh battery pack powers this EV, giving it a 513 km range on a single charge. The e-tron SUV receives a thorough upgrade with the introduction of the new Audi Q8 e-tron. It not only receives aesthetic and functional upgrades, but also has Q8 appended to its name.
