Renault introduces Urban Night Edition across Kiger, Kwid, and Triber lineup
Delhi : Renault India has unveiled a limited edition for the Triber, Kwid, and Kiger in advance of the holiday season. Renault is introducing market-first technologies like Smart Mirror Monitor in its Urban Night Edition model. In essence, this is a digital IRVM that displays back camera feed. In addition to being a first for this feature segment, it is also a first for cars a few categories above.

All three of the French automaker's automobiles are available in Urban Night Edition. The pricing of the Urban Night Edition, which is based on the top-spec trim for all three vehicles, is an additional Rs. 14,999 for the Triber and Kiger and an additional Rs. 6,999 for the Kwid. This is a limited edition as well as a special edition. Renault will sell 300 Night Edition units with each model.
Renault's innovative Urban Night Edition fuses design with urban-friendly functionality. With aesthetically enticing features like stealth black body color and Stardust Silver accents, Renault delivers an outstanding and harmonious balance of elegance and style quotient. Black is already available in Kiger. Urban Night Edition is the only option for going black for Triber and Kwid.
Breakdown of features
Despite having the same stealth black and stardust silver trimmings as other Urban Night versions, each vehicle's feature list varies, which affects cost.
- Kiger Urban Night Edition
Rear skid plates and exterior side door body protection are included with the Renault Kiger Urban Night Edition. A Smart Mirror Monitor, a sophisticated ambient lighting system, an illuminated scuff plate, and a puddle lamp are all included inside the Kiger Urban Night Edition.
- Triber Urban Night Edition
Triber Urban Night Edition receives rear skid plates and side door body cladding, just like Kiger Urban Night Edition. A rear trunk chrome liner with a Stardust Silver Finish is one of the extras with Triber. Triber Urban Night Edition has an illuminated scuff plate, a puddle lamp, and a Smart Mirror Monitor inside.
- Kwid Urban Night Edition
Kwid Urban Night Editions come with less addons for less money than the other two editions, which include more feature-rich extras. Stardust Silver highlights have been added by Renault to the front and rear skid plates, the headlight bezel, and the bumper garnish. Notable features include Stardust Silver flex wheels, an illuminated scuff plate, and a puddle lamp.
Better than Exter's dash cam, is the Smart Mirror Monitor?
Renault's Urban Night Edition introduces a novel new feature. It is a 9.66-inch screen that also functions as an IRVM and is referred to as the Smart Mirror Monitor. A comparable function can be found on the new Suzuki XL7 that is offered in Indonesia. For IRVM, this screen has movable view angles. Additionally, it functions as a dashcam, constantly recording footage from the front and back.
With wireless smartphone connectivity, one can also download saved front- and back-facing camera footage. All three vehicles' powertrains remain unchanged aside from this. The three share a single 1.0L 3-cylinder engine, although only Kiger offers this engine with a 100 horsepower and 190 Nm turbo option.
