Delhi : Bookings for the CNG versions of the Rumion MPV have been temporarily stopped but the petrol ones are still available, according to Toyota. There is a longer waiting list for the MPV due to the popularity of the Toyota Rumion, which is simply a rebranded Maruti Suzuki Ertiga.

The officials declared in a formal press release: "We released the all-new Toyota Rumion in August this year and have got an incredible reaction from our consumers who have been waiting for a Toyota car in the B-MPV market. We are encouraged by the steady stream of inquiries and solid reservations for the brand-new Toyota Rumion. Our forecasted demand has exceeded it, which has led to lengthy supply times for all versions, particularly the CNG option. This has forced us to temporarily stop taking reservations for the CNG option alone in order to prevent customer discomfort from a lengthier waiting time. We still take reservations for the Toyota Rumion's petrol versions, though.

The Rumion comes in three variants S, G, and V and five exterior color choices. Among the colors offered are Spunky Blue, Cafe White, Enticing Silver, Iconic Grey, and Rustic Brown.

A 1.5-liter NA petrol engine and a five-speed manual and six-speed automatic transmission power the Rumion. The car's gasoline engine generates 103 PS and 137 Nm of torque, while the CNG version generates 88 PS and 121 Nm of torque. Toyota states that the CNG variant's fuel economy is 26.11 km/kg while the Petrol variant's is 20.51 kmpl.

The Rumion's interior features include automatic climate control, a height-adjustable driver seat, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, cruise control, and Toyota i-Connect technology. Dual front and front seat side airbags, ABS with EBD, engine immobilizer, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), and other safety equipment are included.

The pricing range for the Toyota Rumion starts at Rs 10.29 lakh and rises to Rs 13.68 lakh, with the single CNG model costing Rs 11.24 lakh.
