Toyota's Rumion CNG hits booking pause amidst unprecedented demand

Delhi : Bookings for the new Rumion E-CNG variant in the nation will temporarily be suspended, according to Toyota Kirloskar Motor. Due to the great interest in the MPV, this has been done. The Toyota Rumion is a rebadged Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, and the business reports that there is high demand for the CNG versions. The quantity of reservations made for the Rumion E-CNG so far was not made public by Toyota.

The company verified that reservations for the Toyota Rumion petrol will still be accepted. The 1.5-liter K-Series petrol engine and manual and automated transmission options provide power for the Rumion. Maruti produces it for both Toyota and the company. Prices for the Toyota Rumion start at 10.29 lakh (ex-showroom).

In a statement, Toyota said, Our customers, who had been waiting for a Toyota car in the B-MPV market, responded overwhelmingly when we introduced the All-New Toyota Rumion in August of this year. We are encouraged by the steady stream of inquiries and solid reservations for the brand-new Toyota Rumion. Our forecasted demand has exceeded it, which has led to lengthy delivery times for all variations, particularly the E-CNG option. Due to this, we have temporarily stopped accepting reservations for the E-CNG option ONLY in order to prevent customer annoyance from a lengthier waiting time. The All-New Toyota Rumion PETROL (NeoDrive) models, however, are still available for reservation.
