Change of mobile number through SBI Internet Banking

New Delhi : India’s largest government bank, the State Bank of India has made most of their banking services online. The SBI services associated with the saving account has become online but not all their customers are aware of the changes. Though banking has gone digital yet many of its customers spend time in long queue. For suppose, many account holders spend time and energy in long line of the bank to update their mobile number which can also be updated online by the concerned person itself. So, if you want to update your mobile number in a finger click, then follow the mentioned below steps.

Steps to update mobile number in SBI Account

Step 1: To change the mobile number, first you need to log in to www.onlinesbi.com. After logging in here, your internet banking dashboard will open.

Step 2: After the dashboard opens, you have to go to the 'Profile' tab. Here you go to the 'My Account' tab. Here you have to go to the 'Profile' option. Here you will get a 'personal details' tab.

Step 3: In this tab, you get the option of 'Change mobile No'. A new window will open before you click on it. 

Step 4: In this window you have to enter your account number and mobile number. After entering both of these, you have to click the subset button.

Step 5: You will then see only two digits of mobile number. The bank will inform you about the status of the change of phone number on the registered mobile number. 

Alternatively, you can also use these methods

(1) If you do not have NetBanking, you can update your mobile number online with the help of your ATM debit card. 

(2) In addition to these two options, you have the option to switch to your SBI branch and change your mobile number through SBI ATM.
