New Delhi : Exam season is back and many students must have started worrying about how to tackle the situation or at least keep yourself prepared to face it. Sometimes it becomes very hard to understand how can one overcome the situation and give his/her best in the exams; here are some tips and tricks which will keep you away from the exam stress.

Say no to social media: It is correct that we are living in a digital world and with that social media has become an integral part of our lifestyles, but detaching from it for a couple of weeks will keep you focused on what is the most important – studies. The simplest way to execute the plan is to switch off your mobile or put your mobile into your parent’s cupboard.

Prepare, not compare:  The biggest mistake most of us do is start comparing ourselves to others and this eventually lead to the feeling that you have a lot of things left to prepare. However, everyone has their own style of reading and remembering, comparison can never let you prepare better.

No new books please: Once we are done with our regular coursebook, students tend to check out new books on the same topic to grasp more knowledge, but such actions can be deadly as the new book may have a new way to solve or explain the same problem, leading to confusion and more frustration before exams.

Never leave things for later: It is a human nature that we leave things for a later time, and it all piles up for the last moment, eventually creating unnecessary pressure. It is important to set deadlines for yourself.

Give up junk food: You may have heard this often while losing weight, but it is also important while studies. Junk food or unhealthy food can make feel lazy and drowsy.

Do not just read, also write: Sometimes students just keep reading things to grasp more and more, but writing is equally important to remember things. It is well known that what you write stays longer in your brain.

Never get late for your exams: It is a good habit to reach exam centres at least one hour before the exam and relax.
