New Delhi : The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) proudly announces the launch of its newest publication, the "AICTE Connect Magazine." The esteemed Chairman, Prof. T.G. Sitharam, unveiled the magazine during a ceremony held on Wednesday, 7th June 2023. The event was graced by the presence of Dr. Abhay Jere, Vice Chairman of AICTE, Prof. Rajendra B Kakde (Adviser-I), Dr. Mamta Rani Agarwal (Adviser-I), Dr. Buddha Chandrashekhar, Chief Coordinating Officer, Dr. R. K. Soni (Adviser-II), Dr. Ramesh Unnikrishnan (Adviser-II), and other esteemed officers and officials of AICTE.

The AICTE Connect Magazine focuses on Research, Development & Innovation and feature the momentous occasions graced by the AICTE Chairman, welcoming of its new Vice Chairman, Dr. Abhay Jere, achievements & accolades of AICTE & It’s affiliated Institutions, National Education Policy, Major changes in the Approval Process Handbook (2023-2024), Yuva Sangam an initiative of Government of India, Research and Innovation culture in Technical Education under Atma Nirbhar Bharat programme, Launch of DRISYAM portal, Legacy Instituion etc. The magazine will be released on a quarterly basis and will be targeted at AICTE’s panoramic achievements, initiatives, developments etc. & its stakeholders i.e. Institutions, students, faculties etc.

During the launch ceremony, Prof. T.G. Sitharam, Honourable Chairman of AICTE, commended the editorial team for their dedication in bringing this magazine to fruition. He expressed his belief that the AICTE Connect Magazine will foster inclusivity, interaction, and transparency, serving as a vital link between AICTE and its stakeholders. Prof. Sitharam emphasized the importance of including valuable accomplishments, initiatives, and procurements of AICTE-affiliated institutions in the forthcoming editions of the magazine. He concluded his address by urging stakeholders to actively engage through this platform.

Dr. Abhay Jere, Vice Chairman of AICTE, also addressed the gathering, emphasizing that the AICTE Connect Magazine will strengthen the organization's objective of fostering connections with all stakeholders while facilitating the seamless exchange of knowledge and ideas for technological advancements. Dr. Jere noted that the magazine caters to a wide readership, including students, faculty members, technology enthusiasts, and others, providing valuable insights and takeaways. He congratulated the editorial team for their commendable devotion to the magazine and offered fruitful suggestions to improve future editions and make them even more reader-friendly.

The welcome address was delivered by Dr. Amit Dutta, Director of the Media Cell & e.Gov. Cell, and the launch event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Mr. John Hongray, Assistant Director of the Media Cell.
