New Delhi : 'VIKASIT BHARAT by 2047', is a dream which is on its path to become a reality soon. Vikasit Bharat is a vision to achieve milestones and ascent to new heights in every sector of the Indian economy. The core to accomplish this stands in the interest of an educated India. In the time of Amrit Kaal, our focus is to transform the education system with a holistic approach.

'Enroot, Educate and Empower' - The National Education Policy (NEP 2020) framed is in this line to build an education system rooted in Indian ethos that contributes directly to transforming India by providing high-quality education to all, thereby making India a global knowledge superpower.

During the Amrit Kaal measures taken to ensure high-quality education and leadership for the next 25 years: various transformative reforms like Graded Accreditation (3 tier) and Graded autonomy, One Nation One Data platform to strengthen periodic assessment and accreditation as envisioned in NEP 2020 and ways to have dynamic education which can actually cater to the demands of industry, society, self-reliance, creativity and originality, Impart 21st century skills, developing critical thinking and problem solving, building research ecosystem, industry-academia collaboration and research support system.

Overall, focus on smooth implementation of NEP is being done to make India the knowledge capital of the world. And for this AICTE has outlined its vision for Amrit Kaal to provide the best education in the world promoting innovation/start-ups/ entrepreneurship, research-based education etc. The vision for Amrit Kaal includes education in mother tongue, enhancing youth employability, to have faculty and student development programs, internationalization of higher education, reforms in exams, mandatory accreditation and regulation and creating a confident, progressive, innovative and empathic generation.

India’s vision for Amrit Kaal is not limited to being self-sufficient and self-reliable but to proudly become ‘Vishwaguru’ and ‘Vishwadhatha’. AICTE goal is to establish India as the knowledge center which can guide the whole world. We are committed to position India’s education system as a top destination for students worldwide, attracting talent, fostering cultural exchange and contributing to the growth of its knowledge economy.
