Bhumi Pednekar, Vicky Kaushal test coronavirus positive; Akshay shifts to hospital

Mumbai : Coronavirus is gripping Bollywood actors fast. A day after Akshay Kumar announced that he has tested positive for COVID-19 infection, Bhumi Pednekar and Vicky Kaushal have also informed that they have caught the infection.

Both the actors will be seen in the upcoming movie Mr Lele and said they were infected despite taking precautions. "Steam, Vitamin C, Food and a happy mood are my go to," Bhumi wrote in her post. 

Vicky Kaushal mentioned that he is under home quarantine and is taking all possible measures.

On Sunday, Akshay Kumar announced that he has tested positive and on Monday he updated that he will be shifting to the hospital as a precautionary measure.

On a happier note, Kartik Aaryan has successfully battled out of the infection and has tested negative now. He was tested positive in March this year.

Several other Bollywood actors have also contracted coronavirus. Recently, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor had announced that they have tested positive for coronavirus. Ranbir's mother Neetu Kapoor caught the virus last year as did her Jugg Jugg Jeeyo co-star Varun Dhawan. The Bachchans were badly hit by the virus last year - Amitabh Bachchan and son Abhishek were in hospital; Abhishek's wife Aishwarya was also briefly hospitalised. Actress Fatima Sana Shaikh also tested positive recently.
