New Delhi : The makers of upcoming movie 'Jogi' has been released. The movie stars Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Kumud Mishra, and Hiten Tejwni, Diljit Dosanjh and others in the lead roles. It has been plotted around the anti-Sikh riots in Delhi during 1984.

The 'Jogi' trailer starts with a happy Sikh family enjoying their meal; Diljit’s happy and cheerful character is shown in the society. The things get dark soon after the assassination of then PM Indira Gandhi; the trailer shows riots and harassment Sikhs had to face at that time.

Jogi is told that Punjab is the only place where he can keep his family safe at the moment. Then there are some features on struggle Jogi undergoes including roaming like a person from different community.

The official Twitter handle of online streaming service NetFlix has shared the trailer of the movie. "Jinke hausle buland ho, unki himmat todna namumkin hota hai. Aisa hi hai sadda Jogi. Watch @diljitdosanjh in and as Jogi – a story about friendship, courage and hope. On 16th September, only on Netflix!"

The movie looks promising and intense from the trailer and is likely to get a good response from the audiences. Diljit Dosanjh’s Jogi will release on September 16, 2022. The film by Ali Abbas Zafar is set during the anti-Sikh Delhi riots of 1984.
