Mumbai : Mumbai police have arrested a man from Rajasthan in connection to Salman Khan’s threat email where the actor was threatened to be killed in the coming days.

According to reports, the accused has been nabbed by the Bandra police station and is now being brought to Mumbai for further investigation in the matter.

The accused has been identified as Dhakad Ram Bishnoi, 21 year old man and a resident of Siyagon ki Dhani in Rohicha Kalan village under the Luni police station in Jodhpur. The man is on bail in a case of arms act.

Recently, a complaint was registered at the Bandra police station about a threat email sent to Salman Khan. The sender of the email has written in Hindi, "Goldy Bhai (gangster Goldy Brar) wanted to talk to Salman Khan face-to-face to close the matter", adding, "Agli baar, jhatka dekhne ko milega (You'll see something shocking)".

After the email was received and the report was registered, the Mumbai Police started an investigation in the matter and also registered a FIR against gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldie Brar.

Now, the cops will be interrogating Bishnoi to understand the reason behind this email. Till then Bishnoi will remain under the custody of Mumbai police and after that he can be given to Punjab police.
