Tom Cruise prepares to shoot a movie in actual space with SpaceX

New Delhi : Space movies have their own way of wooing the audiences and almost every movie has been shot on a bunch of green screens and later making it look like space in the post-production.

It appears like Tom Cruise, known for taking deadly risks, wants to shoot one movie in the actual space and he is in talks with Elon Musk's SpaceX to pull of a project never done before.

According to recent reports, the legendary actor-cum-stuntman, Tom Cruise is currently in discussion with Elon Musk’s space organisation, SpaceX and international space organisation, NASA to allow him to shoot a feature film in actual space.

However, the plan is in its early stage and there would be a lot of complications before it can get green signal from the authorities.

Deadline reports that although the negotiation is in its premature stage, the discussion is serious among the actor and the two space organisations.

While many would start thinking about it as a project of Mission Impossible, we must tell you that it will not be the one.

Now, SpaceX is already developing the Starship which is a fully reusable second stage payload section that can carry passengers and cargo to the Earth’s orbit and other planetary destinations. As it has enough room for a film crew to be onboard, shooting a space film in space can actually happen in the recent future.
