Sonu Nigam manhandled for Selfie, files complaint against fan
New Delhi : Singer Sonu Nigam was manhandled for a selfie after a concert in Mumbai, he has filed an FIR in the matter against the person claiming that a complaint was necessary to teach a lesson that what happens when you force someone for a selfie. A video of the incident has also came up on the social media. His close friend Rabbani Khan received minor injuries in the incident.
What happened?
Sonu Nigam was getting off the stage after a live concert in Mumbai's Chembur when a man approached him and forcibly tried to take a selfie. During the course, a man was seen falling off the stairs and Sonu Nigam slipped on the stairs too.
Sonu Nigam Reaction
Singer Sonu Nigam later spoke to media about the incident and clarified that there was no scuffle, but he has filed a complaint against the man as it is necessary for people to know what happens when you forcibly try to take selfies.
He explained, a man asked him for a selfie, when he refused he grabbed me. When his friend Hari Prasad came to rescue the man pushed him. I was also manhandled during the act; then came Rabbani Khan, the man also pushed him off the stairs. Luckily he did not get serious injuries.

In the video, Sonu Nigam can be seen walking down the stairs in a white jacket as he gets manhandled and a man falls off the stairs. However, the singer did not receive any injury in the incident. He has filed an FIR in Chembur Police station under IPC section 341, 337, 323 against the man.
