Poonam Pandey's husband arrested for assaulting her, days after wedding

New Delhi : Actor Poonam Pandey’s husband Sam Bombay was arrested on Tuesday in Goa after the model filed a complaint claiming Sam had molested, threatened and assaulted her, according to the police.

The incident was reported in Canacona village in south Goa where Poonam Pandey is currently shooting for a film, said an official.

“Poonam Pandey filed a complaint late Monday night claiming her husband Sam Bombay had molested her, and threatened her with dire consequences after assaulting her. He was arrested,” Inspector Tukaram Chavan of Canacona police station said.

“The victim was subjected to mandatory medical tests,” he added.

Recently, Poonam Pandey has tied the knot with Sam Bombay. The two shared pictures from their wedding ceremonies on their respective Instagram accounts. 

Poonam shared a picture of them dressed as bride and groom and captioned it, “Here’s looking forward to seven lifetimes with you.”
