Bhopal : Can you expect a 10-year-old boy to loot a bank? In a bizarre incident, one little boy looted nothing less than Rs 10 lakh from a bank in 30 seconds during peak hour without getting noticed by anyone. The incident happened at Cooperative bank in Jawad area in Neemuch district, Madhya Pradesh on Thursday.

As seen in the CCTV footage, the kid can be seen entering the bank dressed in rags at around 11 am. He then immediately enters the cashier’s cubicle and dropped in two wads of Rs 500 currency notes into a bag and marched out in less than 30 seconds.

According to a news report by the Times of India, the cops scrutinized the CCTV footage and found that he was being directed by a man, who had entered bank 30 minutes before the boy.

As soon as the boy walked out of the bank, the alarm went off and the guard ran behind him.

“The minor was short, so people standing in front of the cash counter couldn’t see him stealing the money,” Neemuch SP Manoj Rai told TOI.

This is not the first time when kids have been used to commit crimes as it comes with a loophole that even if they get caught, the maximum would be that they would be sent to juvenile home and will be out in some years.
