4 seniors gangrape Class 10 girl in Dehradun boarding school

New Delhi : Four seniors have allegedly gangraped a Class X girl student of a boarding school in Dehradun. The four accused minors, along with five staff members including the director and principal of the school have been arrested under the POCSO Act.

The incident came to light when the victim girl found out that she is one month pregnant and she shared the bizarre incident with her sister studying in the same school.

Soon after the matter came to light, the school authorities tried to hush up the matter. An official of the school management told Zee News that the students and staff were busy in preparations of Independence Day when the accused minors executed the shameful act on August 14. He admitted that the school management did not tell the police about the incident. 

After meeting with the victim girl, the cops registered an FIR and arrested the school’s director, principal, administration officer, his wife and hostel warden for alleged destruction of evidence.

The accused minors, all age 17, will be produced before the juvenile court on Tuesday. A medical examination of the victim will also be done.
