Delhi wakes up to light rain, thunderstorm likely
New Delhi : On Sunday, the national capital’s minimum temperature dipped following the late-night rains. Delhi recorded 14 degrees Celsius temperature at 7:00 AM in the morning. Meanwhile, the maximum temperature for Delhi-NCR is settled at 23.2 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was settled at 6.7 degrees.
It must be noted that the minimum temperature recorded on Sunday was two notch below the seasons average, while maximum temperature was 1 notch above the seasons average.
Following rains, visibility improved in the national capital as Delhi’s main weather station, Safdarjung recorded a visibility of 1.8 kilometre at 7:00 AM on Sunday, which is 200 metres more than yesterday.
Supporting to the weather department. Delhi will see generally cloudy sky with light rains during the day which has been caused due to western disturbances. A yellow alert has been issued for tomorrow by IMD.
The weather department has also predicted light rains and thunderstorms accompanied by gusty winds for tomorrow. Thereafter, Delhi will see moderate to dense fog conditions with clear sky and no alerts until February 9.
