New Delhi : After BJP won the land sliding polls in Uttar Pradesh, the right wing parties have taken law into their hands. Many Hindu activists including Bajrang Dal are trying to saffronise UP with their own style.

In a bizarre incident, groups of Hindu outfits forced some foreign models to remove their saffron scarves before entering Taj Mahal. The group staged protest and said the foreigners are not allowed to enter mausoleum with saffron scarves.

The ASI official confirmed the news and said the outfits gathered outside the Taj eastern gate and raised slogan.

The incident has sparked a row and opposition is gearing up to attack the Centre and state government. However, Tourism minister Mahesh Sharma said there is no dress code in entering Taj Mahal.

The models are in India to represent their country in the 11-day Supermodel International Contest which started on April 12.
