Manmohan Singh discharged from AIIMS
New Delhi : Former Prime Minister of India Manmohan Singh, who had tested positive for coronavirus recently, has been discharged from AIIMS on Thursday. The 88-year-old veteran Congress leader was admitted to the Trauma Centre of AIIMS on April 19.
Days before he tested positive for coronavirus, Manmohan Singh had received his two doses of coronavirus vaccine - COVAXIN. He was moved to the hospital as a matter of precaution.
Before his hospitalization, Manmohan Singh had written a letter to PM Narendra Modi, giving suggestions on how coronavirus situation can be handled as the second wave has struck hard. More than 2 lakh people have lost their lives till date.
Meanwhile, India is making a grim record with more than 3 lakh new coronavirus cases daily.
