New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday flagged off a brand new Vande Bharat Express train on Bhopal-Delhi route. The train started its journey from Rani Kamalapati station in Madhya Pradesh's Bhopal.

PM Modi is in Madhya Pradesh to attend the Combined Commanders' Conference on the same day, along with heads of three armed forces, the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh.

Key things that we know about Bhopal-Delhi Vande Bharat train so far:

1: The Vande Bharat train will be covering a distance of 708 kms in just 7 hours and 45 minutes.

2: The train will run between Bhopal's Rani Kamlapati station and Hazrat Nizamuddin station in Delhi.

3: The train will depart from Rani Kamlapati Railway Station at 5:55 am, make a five-minute stop at Agra Cantt Railway Station, and proceed to New Delhi at 1:45 pm. During return, the Vande Bharat express will depart from New Delhi at 2.45 pm and will reach the last stop Rani Kamlapati railway station at 10.45 pm.

4: The basic fare for traveling in Vande Bharat train is Rs 1665 with an option Rs 308 catering charges. The executive class on the train can be booked at Rs 3120 for one-way journey.

5: The government release said that the train will make travel faster and comfortable; to boost the tourism in Bhopal and nearby areas.
