New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday extended greetings to the people on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha.

On Twitter, PM Narendra Modi wrote, "Eid Mubarak! Greetings on Eid-ul-Adha. May this festival inspire us to work towards furthering the spirit of collective well-being and prosperity for the good of humankind."

The festival of Bakrid (Eid Ul-Adha) 2022 in India is celebrated by almost all Muslims and everyone wants to send Eid Mubarak wishes 2022 to their loved ones, family, relatives, friends and cousins. Bakra Eid 2022 is considered to be the holiest festival of Muslims which is celebrated with great joy.

Eid al-Adha is the second and bigger of the two main holidays celebrated in Islam. It honors the willingness of Ibrahim to sacrifice his son Ismail as an act of obedience to Allah's command.
