Prime Minister Narendra Modi shedding tears to fool people: Mayawati

New Delhi : BSP Supremo on Saturday slammed Prime Minister for shedding tears in public, claiming that his emotional gesture is to fool people of India.

She also claimed that the whole demonetisation move by the government is for political gains as it has brought nothing but a medical emergency in the country.

"It is fine that Mr Prime Minister has left his home for the country, but this does not give him any right to cause inconvenience to the people," said Mayawati in a press conference.

She also slammed PM Modi for avoiding Opposition in the Parliament and said only he will be responsible if riots and scuffles break out due to prevailing conditions.
