Ranchi : RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav was once again presented before CBI judge Shiv Pal Singh on Wednesday at Ranchi Court where he cried harsh attitude of jail authorities towards him.

Lalu Prasad pleaded for bail in the matter and also shared how authorities are allowing only three visitors per week to meet him.

"The jailor says that only 3 people can meet me in a week... Please look into this," Lalu Yadav, 79, pleaded in the court on Wednesday.

Shiv Pal Singh is the same judge who awarded 3.5 years of jail sentence to Lalu Prasad Yadav in connection with corruption in Fodder scam.

This is the eighth time Lalu Prasad Yadav has gone to jail, but it is the first time authorities are throwing rulebook on him.

Lalu Prasad Yadav also reasoned bail plea with Makar Sankranti festival that is celebrated at a large scale amongst Bihari community.

Seeking leniency because the Makar Sankranti festival was around the corner, on Sunday, "We celebrate it in a grand way... by eating dahi churra," Lalu Yadav said, trying to be his persuasive best.

Responding to the request, Special CBI judge said, "I will get dahi chura arranged in jail."
