Itarsi : In a fresh attack on Congress, PM Narendra Modi on Wednesday talked about the hatred Rahul Gandhi's party has towards him, saying that they even 'dream of killing him'.

Addressing a Lok Sabha Election 2019 rally in Madhya Pradesh's Itarsi, PM Modi said, "Sochiye, Congress walon ko aapke Modi se itni nafrat ho gayi hai ki woh Modi ko maarne tak ke sapne dekhne lage hain (Congress has so much hatred for me that it even dreams of killing me, but the entire nation is batting for me)".

He also mocked them over a poll promise that reads 'farm loan will be removed within ten days of Congress forming the government'; PM Modi said, "What is stopping them from doing this in Madhya Pradesh?"

Calling Congress a dishonest party he said that they only know dynastic rule and corruption. PM Modi said the Congress culture was to “hold back” development schemes. He said Madhya Pradesh, where the Congress came to power in December last year, was facing acute water shortage because of the ruling party’s policy of not expediting irrigation schemes.

“The Congress is a dishonest party at all levels. It is only honest in propagating dynastic rule and corruption.

“The BJP works in a mission mode for the overall development of the country. The Congress works for the welfare of new generation of dynasts,” he said.

Madhya Pradesh has a total of 29 Lok Sabha seats; voting on six seats was done on April 23, the remaining seats will go in the election on May 6, 12 and 19.

The results for the Lok Sabha Election 2019 will be declared on May 23.
