Prime Minister Narendra Modi to speak in Rajya Sabha at 1pm: Venkaiah Naidu
New Delhi : Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting M Venkaiah Naidu on Thursday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be speaking in Rajya Sabha at 1pm.
From first day the ongoing Winter Session opposition had been asking Prime Minister to attend the sessions and also speak over putting ban on the Rs 500 and Rs 1000.
Opposition intensified their protest both inside and outside the house after Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended Lok Sabha on Wednesday after skipping Parliament for five days.
Opposition had been claiming that BJP-led government has raised severe financial crisis in the country by banning Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes.
However, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has defended his move at several occasions and also claimed that those who are culprits are against the move.
The opposition has also decided to observe November 28 as 'Akrosh Divas'.
