Ranchi : India continued their dominance against the guest team as they struck 16 wickets on day three to ensure that they can get an easy win against South Africa on the fourth day of the third Test match in Ranchi.

With two more wickets, India will bag the series 3-0, making it a clean sweep against the South Africa. On day 3, the home side reduced the visitors to 132/8 after posting follow-on. 

South Africa still trail India by 203 runs, it is expected that the Indian side will end the game early on Day 4. The visitors were bowled out for 162 in the first innings before finding themselves in an ever worse situation, while following on.

Winning the toss and batting first India had posted 497 runs for the loss of 9 wickets with Rohit Sharma scoring a double ton and Ajinkya Rahane scoring a ton.

India won the first two Tests by big margins in Visakhapatnam and Pune.
