Gujarat Titans win IPL 2022 trophy, beat Rajasthan by seven wickets in the final

New Delhi : Captain Hardik Pandya's all-rounder performance bagged Gujarat Titans the prestigious IPL 2022 trophy, as the team won final against Rajasthan by seven wickets.

Skipper took three wickets in his first four overs, creating pressure on Rajasthan Royals and restricting them to a low score of 130 runs in the last game of the tournament. Apart from good bowling, Hardik Pandya also played a crucial innings of 34 runs as a batsman. 

Rajasthan won the toss and opted to bat first, they managed to score 130 runs in fixed 20 overs. Gujarat Titans also got a shaky start and lost a couple of wickets in the early overs.

After the loss of two wickets, captain Hardik Pandya arrived on pitch and took control in his hands. With Shubham Gill, Hardik Pandya managed 53-run partnership in 63 balls for the third wicket.

Pandya lost his wicket at a score of 34 runs and post that the team came back only after winning the game.

This was the first IPL game for Gujarat Titans and they managed victory to create history.
