Apple to replace defective iPhone 6S batteries for free

New Delhi : Apple Inc. has decided to replace all the defective batteries in iPhone 6S but only if they meet certain requirements.

Battery replacement offer comes after a Chinese agency 'China Consumer Association' called on Apple to address consumer concerns relating to defective batteries in iPhone 6S.

Many consumers, majorly from China, have addressed that their iPhone is shutting unexpectedly even if their batteries are fully charged.

Responding to the concern, Apple said that they will replace all the faulty batteries. But, the decision has been limited to iPhone 6S purchased between September and October.

Apple also shared all important information relating to the replacement of device on their official website.

Replacement of the batteries can be done from the authorised Apple store.
