Delhi : The Poco F5 series has been unveiled, featuring two smartphones with Snapdragon processors and quick charging, all with the promise of Poco's customary low prices.

There are two different gadgets in the Poco F5 series. The Poco F5 Pro is more of an economical flagship, whilst the basic Poco F5 is more of a mid-range device. The chipset is what makes the main distinction. The F5 Pro has a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip whereas the Poco F5 is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2.

A 6.67-inch 1080p AMOLED screen that operates at 120Hz wraps around the processor in the Poco F5. As an option, 12GB of RAM may be added to the basic model's 8GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Featuring a 64MP main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide, a 2MP macro, and a 16MP selfie camera, the triple-camera array on the back of the device. There is a 5,000 mAh battery inside with 67W rapid charging, and the IP53 water-resistant casing has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The default operating system is Android 13.

The Poco F5 Pro is very similar. It features a 6.67-inch WQHD+ AMOLED display that runs at 120 Hz. Additionally, it adds a second model that has 512GB of storage and 12GB of RAM and uses the same Android OS and camera setup. However, in addition to the 67W wired charging for the bigger 5,160 mAh battery, this model supports 30W wireless charging, which is a first for the company. It also has an under-display fingerprint sensor.

The "LiquidCool Technology 2.0" in both phones, according to Poco, enhances heat dissipation by 35% over the normal F5.

The Poco F5 will cost $379 in black, white, and blue, while the F5 Pro will cost $449 in black and white, translated to local money. Although the gadgets won't be marketed in the US, they appear to be excellent choices for the rest of the world.
