Delhi : Google Contacts is a tool for organizing and storing contact details for the people you interact with. Each contact may have basic details like names, email addresses, and phone numbers, as well as more detailed details like physical addresses, employers, departments, or work titles.

On Android smartphones, Google Contacts now has a new "Highlights" tab

  • To its Android contact management tool, "Google Contacts," Google has added a new "Highlight" option.
  • According to 9To5Google, the new tab can be found in the Material You bottom bar between "Contacts" and "Fix & manage."
  • Users receive a grid of "Favorites" underneath the search box that features four icons in a row, each representing one of their favourite contacts.
  • Additionally, users may quickly "Add" new ones from the top-right corner.
  • Users receive the "Recents" section under "Favorites," which is a two-tab list that begins with "View lately."
  • The most helpful element of the new user interface, however, completes the list and is called "Added lately" (UI).
  • Contacts is now a three-tab application as a result of the modification.
  • "One of the main ways individuals use Google Contacts might be through the new Highlights tab. While the grid is more visually appealing and user-friendly than the list, users might also search instead of scrolling."
