Delhi : Apple had previously stated that it intended to introduce a "dedicated" classical music application in 2022 after purchasing classical music business Primephonic, but the year has now come to a close without the programme going live. In August 2021, the iPhone manufacturer purchased Primephonic.

According to a statement made by Apple in 2021, "Apple Music aims to release a specialised classical music app next year integrating the customers' favourite Primephonic classical user experience with additional enhanced capabilities."

It is still unknown if the app will be released in 2023 because the tech juggernaut hasn't spoken out publicly about the intentions since then.

Users get six months of free Apple Music access once Primephonic stopped down in September 2021.

It was revealed in September 2021 that the creator of the iPhone was getting ready to release a stand-alone classical music app alongside its blockbuster "Apple Music" app.

Before the end of the previous year, an upgrade to iOS 16 was anticipated that would include the solo classical music app.
