Delhi : Support for spatial video recording on the iPhone 15 Pro has begun to be released by Apple. The iOS 17.2 beta version has the support. According to reports, the iPhone 15 Pro models are receiving the upgrade, which enables spatial video recording. For the uninitiated, Apple Vision Pro is intended for use with Spatial Videos. Early in January 2023, Apple Vision Pro, the company's first mixed-reality headset will be on sale. It was stated by Apple that owners of the iPhone 15 Pro or iPhone 15 Pro Max would be able to record videos that the Vision Pro would be able to play back straight away as a spatial movie.

The manufacturer is now rolling out support for the same. All "Spatial Video" videos would also function on iPhones. That being said, the Photos app would identify the Spatial Video as "Spatial." As to a source on MacRumors, users may capture spatial movies by accessing the Settings app's camera section and manipulating the 'Spatial Video for Apple Vision Pro' option found under the camera formats. Every spatial video that is produced will be shot in a steady landscape orientation. In addition, a 1080p resolution is recorded at 30 frames per second. Those who do not intend to acquire a Vision Pro headset will not find much use for this feature. There won't be much of a demand for the product considering its price.

Apple believes that by providing a close-up, authentic experience, Spatial Videos will take viewers back to the moment of recording. It will be fascinating to observe how customers react to this feature when it launches. To rival firms like Meta and Apple, other businesses like Samsung are also developing their own mixed reality headsets.
