Instagram down for thousands of users across the world: Report

New Delhi : Instagram is among one of the most liked social media platform across the globe. The Instagram services were down for thousands of users on Thursday morning, according to website downdetector.com.

More than 27,000 people were reporting issues with the social media platform, according to the website, which tracks the outage by collating status reports from a number of sources, including user submitted errors on its platform.

According to the report, the spike was reported around 7 am with over 50% of the reported outage were regarding server connection.

Downdetector also mentioned that about 2000 people were affected in the UK and over 1000 people were affected in India and Australia after the outage.
