New Delhi : Micron has claimed to have made world's largest microSD card with a storage capacity of more than 1.5TB. The company also offers i400 series microSD in 64GB, 128GB, 256GB, 512GB and 1TB.

It must be noted that all i400 series microSD cards are rated 24/7 operations for up to five years straight. They are designed in a way that they can operate flawlessly between -25 degrees and 85 degrees.

The company claims that their 1.5TB microSD card can store up to four months of footage in a CCTV camera.

The i400 series utilizes Micron's 176-layer 3D NAND, which was introduced in late 2020.

Currently, the cards are being sampled to the customers and is not available on retail. The card can be beneficial for small businesses as it will help in reducing the need to store the data on cloud storage.
