Delhi : Microsoft is releasing a significant upgrade to its Edge browser for smartphones that adds more AI-powered Copilot functionality. On devices running iOS and Android, the update is being released gradually. With this upgrade, Microsoft is narrowing the difference between desktop and mobile with the additional capabilities introduced to the smartphone app, which are also available on Edge for PCs.

Microsoft released a Copilot app just for Android smartphones a few days ago. You may get the app for free from the Google Play Store. The GPT-4 and DALL-E models from OpenAI power the application. Within the app, users may instruct the AI-powered assistant to draft emails, produce screenplays and tales, summarise texts, translate language, create resumes for jobs, and more.

Copilot app's image-generating features include the ability to create graphics, custom backdrops, logo designs, social network content curation, and more.

Like its desktop cousin, the redesigned Edge for Android and iOS supports plugins for AI helper Copilot. Edge for smartphones offers a wide range of Copilot plugins, such as a recipe search, music generator, and more.
