Delhi : On Wednesday, Netflix announced that, in collaboration with Rockstar Games, it would be bringing three hugely successful Grand Theft Auto video games to its membership base. On their Android and iOS smartphones and tablets, Netflix customers may play Grand Theft Auto III, Vice City, and San Andreas for free starting on December 14.

Starting today, interested players may pre-register for the game of their choosing on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Interestingly, these games aren't compatible with every phone on the Android platform.

How to play? Where to play?

Netflix has released all three of these games on the Play Store and App Store: GTA III (1.7 GB), GTA: San Andreas (2.9 GB), and GTA: Vice City (2.8 GB). To play these games on iPhones and iPads, a smartphone with an A12 Bionic or later chip running iOS 16/iPadOS 16 is required; on Android, the list of devices that support these games is presently unknown.

Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition, a PC game developed by Rockstar Games, was published in November 2021 for PCs and consoles. It is presently available for Rs3,299 on the PC. These games will be available for free play on smartphones and tablets for Netflix subscribers.

This correlates with the release of Grand Theft Auto's upcoming sixth installment, GTA 6, which Rockstar Games just celebrated its 25th anniversary by announcing the arrival of the game's first trailer.
