Delhi : The minister of external affairs, Speaker S Jaishankar would start the summit's first session. Beginning on Monday and lasting for three days, India will host a worldwide conference focused on export laws, data privacy, and the impact of technology on geopolitics.

Along with these topics, the summit will discuss digital public infrastructure, new and emerging technologies, and cross-cutting national security and innovation policy concerns. 'Geopolitics of Technology' is the subject for the Global Technology Summit (GTS), the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said on Friday.

The Policy Planning and Research Division of the MEA and Carnegie India are co-hosting the summit, which is India's premier geotechnical event. Approximately one hundred speakers and thousands of attendees, including policy officials, business leaders, academics, technocrats, and innovators from India and around the globe, the MEA, are expected to attend the GTS.

It stated that ministers and high-ranking government representatives will attend the summit from a number of nations, including the US, UK, Germany, Singapore, Sierra Leone, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Lithuania, Brazil, and the European Union.

According to the MEA, the summit will cover important technological issues, including how technology affects geopolitics and policy concerns about emerging, critical, and new technologies, digital public infrastructure, export regulations, data security, and cross-cutting issues relating to innovation and national security.
