New Delhi : Months after getting banned in India, PUBG will be returning to the nation under a new name. Krafton On Thursday confirmed that the game will be returning to the country as 'Battlegrounds Mobile India'.

The first teaser of the game has also been released by the makers. Check it out below:

In the teaser, no game play has been shown but it has been reported that it will be majorly like the one banned during the Chinese application ban.

But since the game is being re-launched, keeping India in focus, some of the in-game events will differ from the ones in PUBG.

So far, Krafton is tight-lipped on what to expect from Battlegrounds Mobile India, though a website is available, not that it details anything important.

The game will be kept free for play and will be strictly limited to India.

TechCrunch has a few more details, it mentions that the game will offer a number of restrictions to limit spending and game time for minors, and it will require a phone number of a parent or guardian to play if underage.
