Delhi : A number of new features and enhancements are being supported on YouTube as part of the most recent upgrades to the video streaming site. The company, which is owned by Alphabet, declared that it is providing customers on various platforms with "three dozen new features and design updates." Users may now enjoy better volume settings, more effective video searching, and an enhanced YouTube video creator subscription and video liking experience. Additionally, a new You tab including a user's viewing history and account information has been introduced.

Stable volume update

Director of Product Management at YouTube, Matthew Darby, said that the service has included a new feature called Stable level, which is intended to make adjusting the level during a video easier by eliminating the abrupt jumps that were previously present. Users may find this feature under Additional settings > Stable volume in each video settings menu. It is activated by default and is now being rolled out to users.

Improved seeking update

Searching while viewing a video will also grow simpler, the officials claim. Users may press and hold the right side of the screen to start playing a movie at twice the pace while viewing it in portrait or landscape (full screen mode) – until they let go.

Haptic feedback update

With haptic feedback, viewers will be able to move their finger to scrape the video seek bar back to the spot they were previously seeing. Users of smartphones and tablets may now "lock" their devices' screens to avoid unintentional touches when watching videos.

Real time update

The appropriate buttons will be displayed with a visual cue when a video is playing, and when viewers engage with them, animations will occur. This is how YouTube producers encourage people to like and subscribe to their channel. Users will get real-time updates to video counts throughout the first twenty-four hours following a video's upload, the business claims.

Tab arrangement update

In addition, YouTube is replacing the library tab with a new You tab that can be found in the lower-right part of the screen. According to the firm, this page will contain information about your channel, account preferences, and previously viewed videos, playlists, downloads, and transactions.

Hum to search update

From the YouTube app, Android users will also be able to sing, hum, or play a song to find it. According to the business, this capability, which is also included in the Google app, will enable you to rapidly search for and identify a track using artificial intelligence. Over the next weeks, it will be accessible through the YouTube app for Android handsets.
